Dear Fellow Portuguese Americans:

On behalf of Board of Directors and Affiliates of NOPA, I extend our greatest sympathy and prayers to our brothers and sisters in Madeira who are suffering due to the recent flood and to those in the US who have family and loved ones in disaster area.

NOPA has set up a special Madeira Aid Relief account to assist those wishing to make donations via credit card to avoid international wire transfer fees. NOPA will forward the donations to the Cruz Vermelha (Portuguese Red Cross).
